Mike comes to us after graduating from Old Dominion University and St. Augustine University School of Law. After being admitted to the Virginia Bar, Mike began practicing criminal defense work in Hampton Roads. His work involved preparing the matter for trial and assisting at trial. He then sought and obtained a job with the Magistrate’s Office for the City of Norfolk. As a Magistrate Judge, Mike was responsible for reviewing criminal allegations to determine if there was sufficient evidence to bring forth criminal charges. Additionally, he was responsible for reviewing and issuing Emergency Protective Orders as well as determining if the accused criminal was eligible for a bond. With this background, Mike brings a very unique and determined perspective to his role as a criminal defense attorney. Mike’s skill set is not limited to criminal law as he practices a wide variety of litigation matters including family law, personal injury and general civil cases.
